Virtual Pelvic Floor Coaching for Every Stage of Motherhood
One-on-one virtual coaching for your deep core and pelvic floor, designed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Prenatal through years postpartum, wherever you are in the world. Evidence-informed and built around your body instead of an arbitrary timeline.

You just don’t trust it yet.
Clinician-designed coaching for your core and pelvic floor.
Every program hands you the same exercises and hopes. No one’s looked at your body, your birth, or what you’re actually trying to get back to. That’s where Hearth starts.
Who We Serve
Expecting moms preparing for birth. New moms in the thick of recovery. Moms five or ten years out who are still leaking, still aching, still not feeling like themselves. If you are preparing to, or have carried or delivered a baby, there is a place to start. We help you find it.
How It Works
The Deep Core Restore Method is our coaching system. Assessment first, then progressive programming, then a coach watching how you move and adjusting as you change. The same exercise can help you or do nothing at all, depending on how it is done.
Meet The Team
Hearth is led by Laura Williams, PT, DPT, PWCS, a Doctor of Physical Therapy board-certified in women’s health. She works alongside a team of brilliant clinicians, so you can trust your direct program coach will be one of the best pelvic floor PTs in the country.

Build Your Strength Before And After Baby, Wherever You Are
Hearth Healing is a virtual pelvic health coaching practice founded by Dr. Laura Williams, PT, DPT, PWCS. We work with women in all fifty states and internationally, from the first trimester through years postpartum. Coaching runs through the Hearth app, so the work fits into a day that already has a baby in it. There is no six-week gate here. Prenatal core work, day-three breathing, and a return to running twelve months out are all the same project at different stages.
Pelvic Health Support for Every Stage
The conditions and questions moms bring us most often, explained by the clinicians who coach them. Read these whether or not you ever work with us. Understanding what is happening in your body is the first thing that changes.
The gap that stayed open
The ab separation that lingers long after birth. What closes the gap, why crunches are not the enemy, and how to know if yours is healing.
Leaking and heaviness
Common does not mean permanent. The conservative, non-surgical options that help many women improve, and when to consider more.
More than kegels
Squeezing harder is not the answer. How to strengthen, release, and retrain the muscles that support your core and bladder.
Before baby arrives
Train your core and pelvic floor through pregnancy, manage pressure, and start recovery ahead instead of behind.
Years out, still not right
Day one or year ten. What is safe at each stage, and why the six-week clearance is a starting line, not a finish line.

I have been on both sides of the six-week clearance.
I am Laura Williams, PT, DPT, PWCS. I spent years teaching women how to prepare for birth and recover from it. Then I had an emergency cesarean, and none of it looked like what I had been teaching.
What got me through was not grit. It was information. I understood what had happened to my body and what to do next, and that made the difference between grief and trauma.
Most women are not given that. They are discharged sore and confused, told to wait six weeks, and left to decide on their own whether what they are feeling is normal. Hearth exists to close that gap. We are not here to fix you, and we are not here to scare you. We hand you the knowledge and stay with you while you use it.

What Our Clients Say
What changed, in their words. Not before-and-after photos. Symptoms, and what happened next.

Without Laura’s help, I likely would have ended up in the ER getting a catheter
I had a successful VBAC with my second kiddo and felt pretty great immediately postpartum. I may have overdone it with my physical activity in that first week while trying to also keep up with my 2-year-old. About 10 days postpartum, I started feeling an intense muscle spasm in my pelvic floor when I was standing. I went to pee one evening and couldn’t, my pelvic floor was in a complete spasm, and I was unable to release the urine. I panicked and was almost in tears when I contacted Laura. She immediately eased my concern, talked me through what was happening anatomically and gave me 3 gentle exercises to release the spasm and was able to immediately release the pee. I performed these exercises consistently for 2 weeks and felt my pelvic floor relax. Occasionally when I would overdo it activity wise, I would feel the spasm creep up, however I was able to immediately release it on my own with these exercises. Without Laura’s help, I likely would have ended up in the ER getting a catheter. Thank you, Laura, for the support, and for providing feasible exercises in such baby focused time!

I can honestly say that without Laura’s help I would still be leaking with every sneeze and cough
I can honestly say that without Laura’s help I would still be leaking with every sneeze and cough. I’d still be scared to exercise in fear of making my diastasis recti worse. Thankfully I met Laura and I am on my journey to healing my diastasis recti & pelvic floor. I have gained muscle memory & confidence that my body can heal!

Laura is AMAZING!! I had debilitating pelvic and SIJ dysfunction. She was instrumental in helping me stabilize, strengthen and “rewire” my neuromuscular system. I had stopped all activities due to pain and dysfunction. I worked with her for many months and every visit moved me in the right direction. She really gets it and knows how to read your body and knows intuitively what to do!!! she’s a genius!! I’m 100% better and living a full active pain-free life again!

Why moms choose Hearth
This is not a fitness app.
This is not a generic postpartum program.
This is clinician-led, 1-on-1 compassionate care coaching built around you.
DPT-led
Every program is designed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is board-certified in women’s health. That means the person building your plan can tell the difference between a weak pelvic floor and one that is too tight. They are opposite problems with opposite fixes.

You can do this at 6 am or 10 pm, from a hotel room or a kitchen floor, in any state or country. The only thing you have to schedule is the check-in. Work with your coach from anywhere in the world, on a schedule that fits real life with a baby.
One-to-One
Not a group program and not a pre-recorded course. One coach, who knows your birth history and remembers what you tried last month.
Whole-person
The Deep Core Restore Method works on movement, breath and pressure management, daily habits, and how you feel, together, because they move together. Your breathing, your sleep, and your stress all show up in your pelvic floor.

FAQs: Pelvic Floor Coaching
The questions moms ask us most, answered by our clinical team.
What is virtual pelvic floor coaching?
Virtual pelvic floor coaching is one-on-one guidance for rebuilding your deep core and pelvic floor, delivered online by a qualified coach with years of clinical experience.
At Hearth, your coaching is designed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy and built around your body, your birth history, and your goals. It is education, movement programming, and ongoing support, not medical treatment, which is what lets us work with you wherever you live.
Does pelvic floor coaching actually work online?
Yes. Most of what helps your pelvic floor recover is education, the right movement at the right time, and consistent feedback, all of which work well over video and an app. You get a personalized plan, real-time adjustments, and direct access to your coach. For many moms, virtual coaching removes the real barriers so they can actually finish the program.
Is it too late to work on diastasis recti or leaking years after birth?
It is not too late. Many women see meaningful improvement in core strength, diastasis recti, and bladder leaking years after delivery with consistent, conservative coaching.
The body keeps responding to the right training at any age. Results depend on the individual and your starting point, and a personalized plan gives you the clearest path forward.
Can I start pelvic floor coaching while I am pregnant?
Yes, and starting during pregnancy is one of the best ways to prepare. Coaching helps you train your core and pelvic floor safely, manage pressure, and learn what may help reduce tearing, so recovery starts ahead instead of behind.
Nothing is automatically off-limits. The right approach depends on your stage and your body, which is what a personalized plan is for.
Is this physical therapy, and do I need a referral?
Hearth is a coaching program, not clinical physical therapy, even though it is designed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. That means no referral, no diagnosis, and no waiting list.
We focus on education, movement, and pattern recognition drawn from real clinical experience. If something needs medical care, we will tell you and help you find the right provider.
